Arriving at the airport of San Cristobal your tour leader will welcome you. As an introduction to your Galapagos program you are visiting the interpretation center of the island where you will learn a lot about the archipelago’s formation as well as the development of human settlement. Later you take a hike to the “Cerro de las Tijeretas” (Frigate-birds rock) and other viewpoints where you can observe various animals. The evening is free to get to know Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.

Today a boat takes you to one of these natural highlights of the island:

León Dormido & Puerto Grande: After the volcanic rock island León Dormido with its population of sea birds you are visiting the white beach at the bay Puerto Grande for swimming and snorkeling.

(Depending on the excursion day the beach of Maglecito or Punta Carola instead of Puerto Grande)

You are exploring the highlands of San Cristobal today: Here you visit the “Galapaguera de Cerro Colorado”, home of the famous giant tortoises. To complete the day you can take a bath at the beach of Puerto Chino in the afternoon, accompanied by several sea lions. Later you visit the “Loberia´´- the perfect place to watch and take photos of the famour sea lions. Also you can enjoy your time snokeling or relaxing on the beach.

In the morning, you head to visit the Island of Española, where you go off the boat in Punta Suarez. There you will take a hike to the famous “blowhole”. On the way, you will spot many birds as blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies or the Galapagos albatross. After lunch, you will visit the Gardner Bay, a marvelous white sanded beach that is home to several colonies of sea lions. Here you can enjoy and explore the marine life while snorkeling.

On the last day of your Galapagos stay you can enjoy the beach for once more before you leave the Island and return to Quito or Guayaquil. Have a safe and nice flight back!
