Day 1: Arrival Buenos Aires

After your arrival you go on a walk through the city center visiting the cathedral, the Pink Palace, the pedestrian zone Calle Florida, and the trendy San Telmo neighborhood. In the evening you enjoy a typical Argentinian dinner at a local family´s house. You will help prepare the traditional “empanadas de carne” and have a look over the grill master´s shoulder while he is preparing the “asado”.

Day 2: Buenos Aires

Today you start your big city tour on the small path, Caminito, in the La Boca district. Alongside many colorful little houses you learn a lot about the history of this district which is marked by Italian immigrants. You experience a big contrast when visiting the affluent district of Palermo and Recoleta. In the chic dockland area you finish the city tour with a stroll along the promenade.

Day 3: Buenos Aires – Flight to Bariloche

In the morning a short flight brings you to Bariloche. In the afternoon you enjoy a round trip on the “Circuito Chico” along Lake Nahuel Haupi which leads from the peninsula Llao Llao to the Lake Lago Escondido and to the viewpoint on the Cerro Campanario. To end the day you have a stroll through the Myrtle Forest of Arrayanes Park.

Day 4: Bariloche

This day is for you to spend as you please. Trekking, kayaking, mountain-biking or relaxing in the surroundings. We are happy to help you plan your excursions.

Day 5: Bariloche – Puerto Varas

Today you experience a diverse drive all the way to Puerto Varas. By land craft, motorboat, and catamaran you reach Puerto Varas and experience different landscapes on the way.

Day 6: Puerto Varas – Petrohue – Osorno

Today you have an excursion to the Vicente Perez Rosales National Park. You visit the Petrohue Waterfalls and continue your journey to the snowcapped volcanic cone Osorno. A short walk leads you over a reddish brown field of ashes to Osorno´s crater. Here you have a spectacular view of the surrounding mountain and lake landscapes.

Day 7: Puerto Varas – Flight to Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales

Today you leave the Chilean lake landscapes behind and fly to Punta Arenas. A transfer brings you to the small harbor town of Puerto Natales which is located in the idyllic fjord landscape. With a bit of luck you can even spot a herd of Guanakos on the wayside.

Day 8: Puerto Natales – Torres del Paine

Today you start a 2-day tour into the Torres del Paine National Park exploring the eastern part of the park. During a walk along the beautiful Laguna Azul you have fantastic views of the three granite pinnacles of the Torres del Paine. On your way along Lake Nordenskjöld to the waterfall Salto Grande, you can make many stops to enjoy the overwhelming scenery.

Day 9: Torres del Paine

Today you explore the area around Lake Grey. You walk through lenga forests to the so-called “iceberg graveyard” where huge icebergs float in the water and form the perfect photo opportunity. An equally fascinating view of Lake Grey is achieved after a short steep ascent. You can also choose to take part in a 3 hour boat trip to the brim of the Grey Glacier.

Day 10: Torres del Paine – El Calafate

In the morning you say goodbye to Chile and continue your trip to El Calafate, Argentine. Around midday you arrive in El Calafate where you can stroll around the town, do some shopping, or relax in one of the numerous bars and cafés.

Day 11: El Calafate – Perito Moreno

Today you visit another highlight of the trip. In the morning you drive to the Los Glaciares National Park where the overwhelming view of the Perito Moreno Glacier is waiting for you. The 35km long, 6km wide, and in parts over 80m high mass of ice is one of the most spectacular natural wonders and is part of the UNESCO world natural heritage.

Day 12: El Calafate

This day in El Calafate, with its varied offer of optional excursions, is completely at your disposal.

Day 13: El Calafate – Ushuaia – Isla Martillo

A short flight in the morning brings you to the southernmost city on earth. Through wild Patagonian grasslands, you drive to the Estancia Harberton where you can visit the historical property. Then the journey leads to the first natural wonder of Tierra del Fuego – the penguin island of Martillo where you can see over 3000 Magellan penguins in their natural habitat.

Day 14: Usuhaia – Tierra del Fuego National Park – Beagle Channel

18km from Ushuaia you reach the final point of the legendary Pan-American highway that runs from South Argentina to Alaska. There you walk past lenga trees and beaver dams to the beautiful Lapataia Bay. In the afternoon you have an excursion to the world famous Beagle Chanel during which you will see a bird island with a large colony of cormorants, a sea lion island, and a small island with a light house, well known from postcards.

Day 15: Ushuaia – Flight to Buenos Aires

Today you fly to Buenos Aires where you have free time to explore the city once again or to buy your last presents and souvenirs.

Day 16: Departure Buenos Aires

Today you say goodbye to Argentina and make your way to the airport.
